We are looking for a motivated leasing agent to join our team on a contract basis in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for showcasing residential properties, attracting prospective tenants, and maintaining positive relationships with residents and team members. Your ability to combine excellent customer service skills with knowledge of property management will be key to succeeding in this position. Responsibilities: Greet residents, prospective tenants, and colleagues with a detail-oriented and welcoming attitude. Identify potential tenants' needs and match them with suitable apartment homes by effectively communicating property features and benefits. Complete required fair housing training before engaging with tenants or prospects. Present available properties and amenities in an appealing manner to secure lease agreements. Conduct market research, analyze local rental trends, and recommend adjustments to rental rates as needed. Perform regular market surveys and assess competitive properties. Close sales successfully by leasing apartments and verifying tenant qualifications. Create promotional materials and advertise available units on social media to attract potential renters. Participate in outreach marketing activities to generate interest from prospective tenants. Inspect model units and market-ready apartments, reporting service needs to the property manager. Requirements: Proven experience in property management, real estate, or leasing roles. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with tenants and team members. Familiarity with Yardi property management software or similar systems. Ability to conduct market research and analyze rental trends effectively. Knowledge of fair housing regulations and practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage administrative tasks with attention to detail. Prior experience in marketing and outreach activities is a plus.
