Document Imaging Specialist

Job Requirements: Overview Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Document Imaging Specialist is responsible for scanning all documents for the organization into our imaging system, OnBase, while working cohesively with the other members of the accounting team, as well as with other employees throughout the organization. Responsibilities: Prepare documents such as work instructions, invoices, orders, payment and shipping documents for scanning Scan documents into appropriate folders in OnBase and index Ensure documents are scanned in a timely manner Maintain scanners and contact OnBase maintenance when system needs repairs Other Experience and Qualifications: Education and Experience: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), and a minimum of 1 year of office experience or equivalent education. Skills and Abilities: Read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures, business correspondence, and governmental regulations furnished in written or diagram form. Must be detailed oriented and able to maintain accuracy while completing routine tasks over a sustained time period. Requires job-related software skills, MS Office and the ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment. Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Regular office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, and touch; talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to move around.
