Evinrude Parts & Oil Business Sales Representative

This position supports the functions of the Evinrude Parts & Oil business to maximize revenue by being the "go to" for day to day relationships with our North American dealers. You will be a partner to our dealers by engaging and advising them on their Evinrude service parts business. You'll have the opportunity to: Actively sell to predetermined network of dealers to exceed sales targets Develop and implement strategic initiatives within your network to exceed revenue and margin targets (e.g. prioritize certain products, optimize dealer inventories, etc.) Conduct outbound sales calls to dealers and effectively sell wholesale stocking programs Provide excellent customer service support and attend to daily business needs and timely issue resolution Cultivate dealer partnerships by servicing as a business partner to support dealers' long term success Maintain regular dealership contact through regular calls and function as their primary liaison for wholesale orders Provide suggestions in a cross-functional environment to improve internal processes and customer experience Research and analyze dealer performance and market potential by utilizing available reporting and tools Understand territory dynamics and prospect to find additional accounts in underserved areas Implement dealer action plan for growth prospects and underperforming dealers Utilize a dealer call report to track dealer conversations for effective follow up and insights 5% travel is expected within assigned territory You'll thrive in this role if you have the following skills, experience and competencies: 2+ years of relevant experience in sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to have difficult business conversations Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments Business acumen: analytical skills, understanding of basic financial concepts, and the ability to recognize improvement opportunities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills Demonstrate a willingness to assume responsibility and make thoughtful, logical decisions within the scope of the position Preferred: Bachelors Degree or MBA in a relevant field (marketing, business administration, sales,...)
