We are a family-owned and operated company, and the culture of being a family also resonates through all associates!/ph3Responsibilities/h3pSales Trainee/pulliGain essential operational knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings (PVF) and commercial plumbing products./liliDevelop and maintain stellar customer and vendor relationships to drive business./liliGenerate accurate product quotations, including specifications, lead times, pricing, expiration dates, tagging, packaging, inventory, and logistics./liliProcess all incoming orders received via eCommerce, phone, email, and in person./liliProvide prompt, accurate responses to customer calls and emails regarding new transactions and provide project quotations./liliMaintain relationships with vendors and manufacturer representatives to streamline order processing./liliUtilize and consistently educate yourself on updates and procedures for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and other software./liliEducate yourself on all company products to help customers make well-informed purchasing decisions./liliStay informed on active marketing programs to accurately respond to customer inquiries./li/ulpDistribution Trainee/pulliConsistently review the order queue to track statuses and ensure customer requirements are met and information is accurate./liliHandle expedited orders to ensure prompt fulfillment and processing of delivery dates./liliProcess required paperwork for product returns in a timely manner and issue customer credits according to company policy./liliOperate forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jacks to prepare shipments./liliParticipate in inventory counts./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3pBachelors degree (December 2025 and May 2026 graduates will be considered)./ppExcellent customer service skills./ppAbility to work in a Warehouse environment./ppExcellent verbal and written communication skills./ppHighly organized with strong attention to detail./ppAbility to effectively prioritize tasks and demonstrate good time management./ppProven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team./ppEqual Opportunity Employer - Drug-Free Workplace/ppAn offer of employment with Eastern Industrial Supplies is contingent upon the successful conclusion of a drug test and background check./p/div
