HVAC Salesperson

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable HVAC Salesperson to join our Sarasota team. In this role, you will develop and manage sales across existing relationships with commercial businesses, residential developments, and high-end builders throughout the Sarasota, Bradenton, and Tampa markets (territory: Venice to Tampa). You will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing long-term client relationships, and delivering customized HVAC solutions that align with performance, budget, and design requirements. The ideal candidate blends technical HVAC expertise with strong consultative sales skills. Key responsibilities include: Generating new leads and growing sales across commercial, residential, and high-end builder markets in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Tampa. Building and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, builders, developers, general contractors, architects, and property managers. Assessing customer needs and recommending appropriate HVAC systems, upgrades, and service solutions. Preparing and presenting proposals, estimates, and bids, including plan and spec reviews. Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable deals. Technical and project coordination duties include: Conducting site visits, taking measurements, and assessing project requirements. Collaborating with engineering, design, and installation teams to ensure accurate system design and execution. Ensuring compliance with local codes, energy standards, and manufacturer specifications. Supporting projects from pre-sale through completion to ensure customer satisfaction. Customer relationship management tasks include: Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. Maintaining ongoing communication to support repeat business and referrals. Addressing customer questions, concerns, and change orders promptly and professionally. Administrative and reporting duties include: Maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activity in CRM systems. Tracking pipeline, forecasting sales, and meeting or exceeding assigned revenue targets. Staying current on HVAC products, technology, rebates, and industry trends. Required qualifications include: 5+ years of HVAC sales experience (commercial and/or residential). Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and energy-efficient solutions. Proven ability to close deals and manage long sales cycles. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites. Preferred qualifications include: Experience working with high-end or custom home builders. Knowledge of commercial HVAC. Familiarity with estimating software and CRM platforms. HVAC certifications or technical training. Skills and competencies include: Consultative, solution-based selling approach.
