Customer Service Representative

Surestaff is looking for a Customer Service Representative in the Carrollton, TX area. This position is responsible for managing customer orders from entry through delivery while ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and timely coordination across departments. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM

5:00 PM Location: Carrollton, TX (on-site) Responsibilities

Enter, process, and update customer orders accurately. Communicate order status, ETAs, confirmations, and any changes or delays to customers. Provide customers with required documentation including order confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and shipping updates. Coordinate with Production to track order progress and confirm completion dates. Work with Shipping to schedule shipments, create load tags, and prepare shipping documentation. Collaborate with the Warehouse regarding product pulls, shipping priorities, and workload planning. Request, schedule, and follow up on dock appointments with third-party carriers. Assist with next-day shipping planning by ensuring orders are submitted on time. Troubleshoot issues such as production delays, shortages, late shipments, or missing orders. Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner. Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred, especially in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, order systems). Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and departments.
