Come make a difference at MGIC.**Sales Account Manager**\*This role requires constant travel within the state of Ohio**PURPOSE**Responsible for MGIC's business relationship with assigned accounts or in an assigned territory to achieve targeted share of quality business.

Conduct strategic initiatives for Clients to establish a deeper understanding of their specific business.**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES***The following statements describe the general nature of work performed by people assigned to this job, may not be performed by all individuals in this job, and are not a complete list of all job duties required.** Develop account management plans, makes direct sales calls on key executives and decision makers at the account headquarters and select regional offices and branches, and coordinates all sales calls, services and entertainment provided by the company.* Establish strategies and plans for delivery of products and services to assigned accounts requiring strategic support.

Assures implementation of the plans and strategies at both home office and branch office levels for each account.* Prepare and delivers sales presentations covering MGIC's insurance and additional value-added services such as contract underwriting and other non‑insurance products.* Coordinate with regional and home office personnel regarding services for assigned accounts.* Provide feedback and suggestions to managing directors/sales managers and home office individuals on customer needs, market conditions, competition, and trends within the lending industry.* Initiate action and coordinates with Risk Management to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective fashion.* Determine the most effective method for achieving maximum coverage. Plans the amount and type of service coverage needed for specific accounts. Determines and coordinates the follow‑up which will be most beneficial to the customer. Maintains records and reports (i.e., account databases, mailing lists and expense reports).* Regular travel is required to visit and entertain customers and represent MGIC at trade association meetings, industry seminars, conventions, etc., as appropriate.* Active membership/role within local and state Mortgage Banking Associations.**EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND*** Working knowledge of the mortgage lending process.* B2B Sales Skills* Basics of business and finance* Sales techniques and strategies* Strong interpersonal skills and selling skills.* Negotiation and presentation skills* Strong customer and service orientation* Self-motivation and commitment* 5 years of demonstrated success in general selling.* Experience in the mortgage lending industry preferred.* Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.* Must obtain mortgage insurance license within first three months of employment.**Pay Range:**$84,550.00 - $143,740.00*This range aligns with current market data and reflects our commitment to competitive and equitable compensation. Salary offers are based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and training. The range may vary in certain locations to reflect local market conditions.
