Full Time Ops Ctr IN, Terre Haute, IN, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 2980 Status: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt What You’ll Do

Review Loan Documentation: Examine loan applications and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with underwriting guidelines. Coordinate Communication: Serve as the main underwriting contact for branch staff, processors, and vendors involved in the home equity loan process. Follow Up on Requirements: Initiate and track receipt of borrower documentation, resolving discrepancies and ensuring timely submission. Conduct Financial Analysis: Calculate income, debt ratios, and other key financial metrics to assess creditworthiness. Analyze Risk Factors: Identify and evaluate compensating factors, red flags, and file inconsistencies to support sound lending decisions. Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the loan evaluation process. Support Underwriting Decisions: Assist in making credit decisions within designated limits and prepare recommendations for review. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with processors and underwriters to maintain pipeline momentum and meet service standards. Stay Informed: Remain current on underwriting practices, policy updates, and mortgage industry regulations. Deliver Excellent Service: Respond promptly to internal inquiries and provide guidance to team members and branches as needed. What We’re Looking For

Associate’s degree or 1–2 years of business experience (or equivalent work experience). Previous residential mortgage lending or underwriting experience preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with loan documentation and standard underwriting practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan origination systems. Ability to commute to the primary work location. Ability to remain in a stationary position, for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday. Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet). What We Offer
