We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Mortgage Servicing Product Analyst
to join our growing product team. This role serves as a critical bridge between business and technology, focused on supporting mortgage servicing operations, defining business rules, and aligning regulatory compliance with evolving platform functionality. You will collaborate with product managers, servicing experts, and development teams to define user stories, analyze data, and drive continuous product improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of mortgage servicing practices, strong analytical capabilities, and experience working in Agile environments. Key Responsibilities
Analyze and document current-state mortgage servicing workflows, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities. Define and manage business rules and functional requirements that support servicing operations and regulatory compliance. Translate servicing guidelines from agencies (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA) into actionable product features. Collaborate cross-functionally with servicing, product, and engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver enhancements. Develop and maintain Agile artifacts, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog grooming inputs. Conduct impact assessments for regulatory and policy changes, contributing to roadmap planning. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure enhancements meet business and compliance objectives. Monitor user feedback and product performance to recommend continuous improvements. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, product analysis, or business systems analysis. Strong understanding of GSE and government agency servicing guidelines and compliance standards. Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau). Experience working with Agile teams and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Demonstrated ability to define detailed business logic and translate it into functional requirements. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with industry servicing platforms such as Black Knight MSP, Sagent, or LoanServ. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices. Product Owner or Business Analysis certification (e.g., CSPO, CBAP) is a plus. Why Join RiskSpan?
