What You’ll Do as an Inside Sales Representative
Support Outside Sales/Account Managers by prospecting, qualifying, and generating sales with new and existing accounts. Build and maintain a network of customer relationships, partnerships, and business contacts. Develop and maintain knowledge of King Electric’s current product lines and new product offerings. Easily identify and explain the ways in which our products and services are superior to our competitors. Recommend products based on the customer's application. Educate new and existing customers about new products, services, and enhancements that meet their business needs. Create quotes with pricing and technical specifications to meet customer needs. Solve customer problems and provide technical support for their heating applications. Maintain customer account records and track all sales activity in Zoho CRM. Collaborate with Sales Support Ops, Customer Service, Production, and Distribution to meet customer expectations. What You Need to Be Successful
3 years’ experience in sales or related field; ideally HVAC industry or similar. Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering or related technical field is strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree. Experience creating customized quotes to meet customer specifications. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations. Basic knowledge of line voltage electricity and ability to read technical drawings. Experience in applying strategic selling methods; esp. Miller Heiman is highly preferred. Experience using CRM tools; Zoho preferred. Prior experience working with an ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics GP a plus. Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Ability to quickly adapt to an ever-changing marketplace. Advanced MS Office proficiency in Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Professional level English language abilities for written or spoken communications. Pay & Benefits
The full salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 plus annual bonus, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. Discounted premiums on medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) matching with immediate vesting – up to 4% match! Three weeks PTO plus 7 paid holidays. Hours & Work Address
