This role combines strategic sales leadership to drive private dining and catering revenue while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Nights, weekends, and holidays availability is required for this position.**Who You Are**:* Known for your ability to build trust and long‑lasting client and stakeholder relationships.* Recognized for being proactive, staying organized, and ahead of operational demands.* Confident making decisions independently, driving performance, and achieving results.* Skilled in delivering clear and compelling communications including client presentations.* Experienced in successful negotiation and contract management.* Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply.**What You’ll Do**:* Drive revenue through strategic sales initiatives, including private dining, events, and promotional campaigns.* Actively prospect and solicit new business for our event services, targeting group clients and corporate accounts.* Promptly reply to all incoming leads; conduct site visits to support in converting Flying V business.* Respond to event inquiries and conduct site visits to showcase our venue as a premier event destination.* Maintain relationships with Sales/Marketing teams to attract VIPs, media, and promotional opportunities.* Negotiate event contracts, including Food & Beverage minimums and customized client requests.* Serve as the primary point of contact for all event clients, from inquiry through execution.* Collaborate with the Culinary and Beverage teams to create and optimize catering menus that align with client preferences and financial goals.* Act as the on-site lead during events, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.* Manage VIP reservations, ensuring personalized service and attention to detail.* Maintain accurate records of all client communications and event details.* Attend departmental meetings as appropriate: Staff, Department, Resume Review and BEO Meetings, etc.* Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and implement solutions to achieve targets.* Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination between FOH and BOH teams as needed.* Lead, coach, and develop the team to uphold exceptional service standards.* Other duties as assigned.**Your Qualifications Include**:* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.* 3+ years in catering, event sales, or fine dining hospitality is required.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is required.* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.* Hotel or luxury restaurant experience is preferred.* Knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings is preferred.* Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management is preferred.* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field is preferred.* In this position you will often be sitting for extended periods.* In this position you will often be standing/walking for site visits or event support* In this position you will often need ability to lift up to 25 lbs.**Who You’ll Supervise**:This role does not supervise others but works closely with Food & Beverage leadership, Sales & Marketing, Meetings & Events, and Operations teams.Headquartered in New York City, Loews Hotels & Co is rooted in deep heritage in the hotel industry and excellence in service.
