Office of Advancement, Advancement Information Services (AIS) Location: New Orleans, LA Summary

The AIS Director, Business Analytics is a leader in AIS who owns the rules and standards for how TU Advancement measures success, counts gifts and credits, and reports performance consistently for various internal and external stakeholders throughout Tulane and Tulane’s constituents. The position ensures that dashboards, reports, and analysis are consistent, actionable, and aligned with organizational goals, while providing expert guidance to end users with priority given to AIS senior leadership requests. The role will support the effective use of Salesforce Affinaquest (Quest) and related tools to answer key business questions throughout Advancement, and leads a team of end‑user focused business analysts, a training manager, and a documentation specialist. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficiency in data analysis and data visualization with tools such as native Salesforce, PowerBI, or Tableau, etc. Strong knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce and related tools. Understanding of nonprofit and/or higher education fundraising and engagement performance tracking. Experience translating business questions into actionable queries on large datasets. Ability to multitask between diverse user groups. Superior analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to manage multiple demands and/or projects simultaneously. Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development life cycle. Understanding of professional standards when working with SVP and other high‑level stakeholders, including confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications

Experience in higher education or nonprofit advancement. Experience creating dashboards using data visualization tools. Familiarity with fundraising metrics, industry‑specific key performance indicators, and moves management. Leadership experience managing teams and high‑level projects. Experience with Affinaquest’s AdvancementRM Compensation Information. Benefits and Pay
