The Vice President of Sales is a key leadership role responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth across the organization’s portfolio of hotels. This individual will lead the sales team, establish key partnerships, and ensure the company meets and exceeds sales objectives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in hospitality sales, a deep understanding of market trends, and a proven record of driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.

Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass revenue targets.

Identify and cultivate key business partnerships, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.

Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring effective prospecting, lead generation, and conversion strategies.

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and customer engagement.

Develop and oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.

Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.

Foster a high-performance sales culture through continuous training, development, and motivation of sales personnel.

Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and industry regulations.

Drive revenue growth across group, corporate, SMERF, transient, and special segments.

Assist with establishing sales KPIs, monitor performance, and implement corrective action plans as needed.

Oversee sales processes, CRM utilization, reporting, and sales technology adoption.

Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

10+ years of progressive experience in hospitality sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role leading multiple hotels, brand and service levels.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies in the hospitality industry.

Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Expertise in sales analytics, revenue management, and performance metrics.

Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and data analysis tools.

Ability to travel as required and reside near a major airport.
