
Overview
The Hallmark CX Marketing team is a highly collaborative and energetic group of marketing and communications professionals focused on delivering a consistent and engaging consumer‑led brand experience. Our purpose is to build relevancy and engagement with the Hallmark brand through multiple channels of distribution including mass retail partners, our Hallmark Gold Crown network, and growing digital platforms and solutions. The team is comprised of passionate brand and retail marketers with a desire to inspire and affirm caring consumers to spread more care and joy into our world through greeting cards and specialty gifts. The CX Marketing team is responsible for national brand and mass channel marketing strategies and execution; social media strategy and execution, influencer programs and public relations, local marketing strategies for Hallmark Gold Crown network and a best‑in‑class Crown Rewards loyalty program growth and retention strategies, as well as marketing support for Hallmark Keepsakes Ornaments, Gift Wrap solutions and other Hallmark product focuses. As a
Marketing Specialist , you will support the social media marketing team. The Marketing Specialist will assist in developing and executing social and content marketing strategies to enhance our brand’s presence and engagement across various platforms. You will work closely with marketing professionals to identify, engage, and manage social content plans and execution, ensuring alignment with campaign strategies and objectives, and assist with omnichannel integration and campaigns across the CX Marketing team through social media tactics. Marketing Specialist
will bring a mix of strategic thinking, curiosity, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a marketing generalist who enjoys working across a variety of channels and touchpoints, with a particular focus on supporting integrated marketing planning, partnership strategy, and experiential marketing. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to help shape campaigns that resonate with consumers—whether through digital content, live experiences, or streaming/on‑air activations—and reinforce Hallmark’s brand promise. This position will be a critical contributor within that environment, working closely across many executional cross‑functional teams. Success in this role requires the ability to execute effectively in ambiguous environments, pivot quickly as priorities evolve, and connect insights across teams and initiatives. Additional Details
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, giving you the best of both worlds: collaborating in person at Hallmark HQ in Kansas City, MO and enjoying the flexibility of working remotely. Working in office when needed for team meetings, etc. Generally, 1-3 days per week. Hallmark is committed to recognizing and rewarding performance.
