Responsibilities
Leads the development and execution of marketing and strategic communications initiatives for Vera Creative and select clients
Owns and advances digital marketing strategy across social media, email, paid advertising, SEO, and content marketing
Serves as a strategic partner to the Communications Director, supporting organizational growth, innovation, and positioning
Applies a strong understanding of marketing funnels, audience segmentation, and performance metrics to drive results
Translates strategy into clear plans, timelines, and priorities that teams can execute against
Requirements
8+ years of experience in advertising, with a proven track record of success in creative leadership roles.
A portfolio showcasing your innovative campaigns, demonstrating your ability to craft compelling stories across diverse channels.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate your vision and inspire others to action.
A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of branding, marketing, and consumer behavior through the lens of human‑centered design.
A passion for purpose‑driven work, with a commitment to using creativity as a force for positive change.
An adaptable skillset to support the success of our ongoing campaigns, with the ability to support innovation for the success of future creative campaigns.
A willingness to roll your sleeves up to support creative production for digital campaigns, impactful traditional media, experiential activations, and more.
Expert working knowledge of the Adobe suite, Figma, WebFlow/web design, and video editing software.
Manages and develops an in‑house marketing team, including marketing coordinators and a community coordinator, as well as freelance contractors
Provides clear direction, coaching, and quality control while fostering autonomy and professional growth
Collaborates proactively with creative, design, video, web, and outreach teams to ensure alignment across strategy and execution
Supports cross‑functional presentations and client‑facing work, including marketing decks and live presentations
Leads Vera Creative’s digital marketing and social media practice, ensuring consistency, performance, and cultural relevance
Oversees email marketing strategy and quality assurance, supporting automation, segmentation, and best practices
Guides paid media strategy and optimization in collaboration with internal and external partners
Revives and strengthens SEO strategy through content planning, optimization, and performance analysis
Supports strategic web initiatives and content updates, without managing the web team directly
