The Senior Agronomist reinforces Givaudan’s Agronomy team. The position is global, reports to the Head of Agronomy in the Global Procurement organization, and is preferably based in Avignon or other Givaudan sites in Europe. Regular international travel within Europe is required (up to 30% of the time) and the role is a permanent contract available immediately. Missions

Lead agronomy and regenerative agriculture projects across strategic natural ingredients value chains. Drive project execution globally and locally, including planning, resourcing, implementation, and performance reporting. Advance the company’s regenerative agriculture agenda, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and industry best practices. Build and nurture internal expertise in agronomy, fostering a culture of sustainable agriculture within and beyond the organization. Partner with procurement teams to co‑develop and deploy collaborative regenerative initiatives across key raw material supply chains. Collaborate with internal and external partners, suppliers, and implementation agencies to achieve project objectives. Represent Givaudan in cross‑industry and pre‑competitive platforms dedicated to sustainable and regenerative agriculture. Demonstrate strategic thinking, recommend for change, and bring forward new ideas. Support the Head of Agronomy in governance, advocacy, and communication of the global agronomy programme across internal and external forums. Your Profile

Agronomy engineer or Master’s degree in related fields. Postgraduate studies or certifications in sustainability are a plus. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in natural raw material value chain project management, with robust expertise in sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices; proven knowledge in dairy and/or arable crop industry is a strong plus. Demonstrated experience working with agricultural value chain players from farmers to manufacturers and managing complex multi‑stakeholder projects. Good understanding of MRV frameworks and certifications, as well as corporate reporting requirements (Scope 3, biodiversity, etc.). Ability to engage across a wide spectrum of stakeholders within Givaudan and with external organizations, including boots‑on‑the‑ground engagement with suppliers and farmers. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills to set and monitor meaningful KPIs and track the impact of projects. International experience and ability to influence, energize, and advocate within diverse, multi‑stakeholder teams across geographies and cultures. Fluency in English and ideally French; additional languages are a plus. At Givaudan
