Build the Future of Digital Construction-at Scale VIATechnik is seeking a VDC Director to lead and scale our Virtual Design and Construction practice across multiple General Contractor clients and portfolios. This is a senior leadership role for someone who wants to shape strategy, build systems, and elevate an organization, not just run projects.

In this role, you'll set the enterprise direction for VDC delivery, lead and develop high-performing managers and specialists, strengthen long-term client partnerships, and drive predictable operational and financial performance—while positioning VIATechnik as an industry leader in digital construction.

Why This Is a Career Move This role is designed for a leader who wants bigger scope, broader influence, and long-term impact.

Shape enterprise strategy for VDC for our General Contractor clients and beyond

Build scalable systems and standards that enable consistent, high-quality delivery

Lead and develop leaders, not just teams

Influence executive clients and expand multi-year strategic partnerships

Advance innovation, including AI, automation, and Lean-enabled workflows

Position yourself for broader operational, innovation, or general management leadership

If you're motivated by building organizations, not just executing work, this role offers meaningful upside.

What You'll Be Accountable For

Refining and executing VIATechnik's enterprise VDC strategy

Leading a high-performing VDC organization with strong managers and clear standards

Growing and deepening strategic client relationships and account expansion

Driving portfolio-level financial and operational performance

Advancing innovation and thought leadership in digital construction

Success is measured by predictability, scalability, client impact, talent strength, and sustained growth—not activity or hours logged.

Who Thrives in This Role You're likely a strong fit if you:

Have led complex VDC, BIM, or digital delivery organizations at scale

Enjoy designing and evolving the systems and processes that shape how work gets done, not just managing tasks

Can translate technical insight into executive-level strategy

Are energized by developing leaders and raising the bar

Thrive in a high-growth, evolving professional services environment

Are excited to integrate AI and automation to improve delivery and decision-making

Comfortable with ambiguity, influence without authority, and balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term strategy

The Win‑Win This is an opportunity to shape VIATechnik's VDC future, build a best‑in‑class organization, and influence digital construction at industry scale—while growing your own leadership impact alongside the business.

Application information During the application process, we'll be asking you for a short summary of a project you've completed that's comparable in scope, detailing complexity, or system type that shows you can succeed in this role.
