R26\_000298**Location:**US-OH-Ohio-Virtual**Pay Rate:**Salary - Salary Plan, 65,000.00 USD Annual**Work Shift:****Job Description**This position serves as a frontline military talent ambassador responsible for building HHS's presence at the military bases, veteran transition events, military spouse programs, and virtual hiring events nationwide. Traveling extensively (up to 90%), the Military talent ambassador will establish strategic relationships with transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses, serving as the primary talent funnel into HHS's operational leadership pipeline.

Leveraging military experience and a deep understanding of military operations, the ambassador will articulate the direct correlation between military roles (MOS, AFSC, ratings) and non-clinical healthcare operations, translating combat leadership, logistics, and mission-critical skills into civilian healthcare management opportunities. This boots-on-the-ground role requires managing a high-volume candidate pipeline and weekly collaboration with the Director on recruitment metrics and relationship-building progress.**Responsibilities****Salary Range:**$65,000 - $85,000****Experience & Qualifications:***** **Required: Prior military service(or extensive experience working with military populations.*** **Strong Knowledge of military career structures, MOS, AFSC ratings, and transferable civilian skill sets.*** **Ability to travel up to 90% for recruitment events and military installations*** Proven experience in military recruiting, HR, and community outreach* Ability to anticipate Leadership’s needs; taking initiative to reach milestones on goals.* Must possess attention-to-detail with a “can do” attitude and work with a sense of urgency* Must have a strong background with Google suite. Computer, email and phone etiquette.****Job Duties and Expected Performance Standards:***** Attends weekly Military Partnerships call to identify current & future staffing needs, share insights from base visits, and maintain relationships with regional recruiters and military transition counselors on open positions* Establish and maintain direct relationships with base transition offices, career fair coordinators, military event organizers, VA Hospitals, VA Satellite Clinics, and VA Education Departments; coordinate HHS participation, booth presence, and speaking opportunities at military recruitment events; actively engage on LinkedIn and military social media platforms as HHS Ambassador to connect with veteran networks and position HHS, LLC as a preferred employer in military communities* Travel up to 90% to military installations, TAP/ACAP programs, veteran job fairs, military spouse events, and virtual hiring platforms to build relationships, raise HHS brand awareness, and source qualified candidates* Proactively plan and coordinate travel logistics across multiple states/regions; manage calendar to maximize face-time at high-impact military events and manage virtual events on non-travel weeks; maintain weekly Director check-ins* Clearly communicate how military leadership roles (platoon leaders, logistics officers, operations NCOs) directly align with non-clinical healthcare operations, including patient flow, supply chain, emergency preparedness, and team management; develop and deliver training content on civilian soft skills (professional communication, corporate etiquette, resume translation) to prepare transitioning service members for healthcare careers* Collaborate with Recruitment Marketing to design and deliver training content on civilian workplace soft skills (professional communication, corporate culture navigation, resume translation, interview preparation); partner with HHS leadership to build comprehensive transition support resources that bridge military-to-civilian career gaps* Screen, track, and advance qualified military candidates through the recruitment process; maintain an organized pipeline in ATS and provide regular updates on candidate quality and conversion rates with the Director during weekly calls* Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Talent Sourcing and Partnerships and Vice President of Recruiting in their capacity as needed****What We Offer***** Paid time off (vacation and sick)* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* 401(k) with employer match* Employee assistance program (EAP)* Employee resource groups (ERGs)* Career development and ongoing training****Important to Know***** Many healthcare facilities require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in place.* HHS is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity and inclusion.****Who is HHS****HHS is a private, family-owned business dedicated to caring for its team members and providing honest, quality-driven customer service.
