The Director of Visual Merchandising will bring to life the creative vision, strategy, and execution of visual merchandising across all physical brand touchpoints for Juliska and Capucine De Wulf. This role is equal parts creative leader and expert project manager—responsible for concepting, designing, and installing compelling visual experiences that elevate brand storytelling, drive sales, and ensure consistency across stores, trade shows, and special installations.

Key Responsibilities Creative Direction & Concept Development

Lead the concepting and design of visual merchandising initiatives across retail stores, trade shows, and brand installations.

Translate brand identity, seasonal narratives, and product launches into cohesive, inspiring visual environments.

Ensure all visual merchandising aligns with brand standards while evolving creatively over time.

Project Management & Execution

Oversee multiple visual merchandising projects simultaneously, from initial concept through final installation.

Manage timelines, budgets, resources, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Lead and participate in store installs, trade show installs, and special projects, including hands‑on installation work.

Retail & Trade Show Installations

Plan and execute store openings, refreshes, resets, and pop-ups.

Design and manage trade show booth concepts, layouts, and installations that stand out and reflect brand storytelling.

Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.

Serve as a key creative partner to Marketing, Creative, Sales, and Retail teams.

Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to visual merchandising team members and freelance partners.

Maintain strong relationships with fabricators, vendors, and production partners.

Brand Consistency & Innovation

Maintain consistency across all physical environments while introducing fresh, innovative ideas.

Stay current on visual merchandising trends, materials, and best practices within luxury, lifestyle, and home categories.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in visual merchandising, with demonstrated leadership at a senior level.

Proven experience concepting, designing, and installing retail environments and trade show booths.

Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

Strong creative vision paired with hands‑on execution capabilities.

Experience working closely with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Willingness and ability to travel for store and trade show installations as needed.

A portfolio showcasing visual merchandising, store installs, and trade show work is required.
