
Social Media Specialist – Farm & Construction Equipment
(Hands-on | Creative | Trend-Driven) We're on the hunt for a
social media-savvy powerhouse
who lives and breathes digital platforms and gets excited about heavy machinery, tractors, excavators, and the people who operate them. If you love creating scroll-stopping content, aren't afraid to experiment with new formats, and can keep up (or stay ahead) of what's popping on social right now – we want to talk to you.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
Own the creation, posting, and optimization of our listings across
Facebook Marketplace
(this is a big one for us!)
Manage and grow our presence on
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Snapchat,
and
YouTube
Work hand-in-hand with our marketing team to brainstorm, develop, and launch fresh campaign ideas
Jump into video production – assist with planning, shooting, and editing short‑form & long‑form content (from quick TikTok/Reels to equipment walk‑arounds and customer stories)
Build and maintain a smart, consistent content calendar that keeps all platforms active and aligned with sales & seasonal goals
Stay obsessively current with platform algorithm changes, emerging trends, audio trends, formats, and creative best practices
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
Working Knowledge of Facebook Marketplace - how listings perform, pricing psychology, messaging buyers, etc.
Strong creative eye + ability to produce engaging visual/video content (even if it’s phone‑shot and edited quickly)
Real comfort level filming and appearing on camera (or directing others who do)
Solid understanding of
Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X,
and
Snapchat
(including Reels, Shorts, Stories, live, etc.)
A natural curiosity for farm life, construction, and heavy equipment
Self‑starter mentality – you see something that needs doing and you just… do it
Ability to balance “fun & viral” content with content that actually drives phone calls, leads, and sales
Nice‑to‑haves (but definitely appreciated):
Experience with basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere Rush, VN, etc.)
Comfortable using scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, etc.)
Photography skills (equipment shots in good light are gold for us)
