Experience leading products from concept to launch on mobile devices, and incorporating user research findings into product design.

Understanding of user-centered and interaction design principles with best practices.

Comfortable switching between low-level, specific product details and high-level ecosystem needs.

You’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products that people love to use.

The Differentiated Pixel Experiences UX team is a tight-knit, interdisciplinary group. We work closely with other Google teams to bring the best of Google to Pixel. The mission of Switching is to build helpful, delightful and personalized experiences across the device.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world’s most helpful mobile experience. The team shapes the future of Pixel devices and services through advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together Google’s AI, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and transformational experiences for users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities

Contribute to the product area, and develop perspectives working closely with the rest of the Research and Strategy (R&S) team.

Drive both UX strategies and tactical executions for areas of ownership. Define processes and best practices to advance collaboration across teams and Cross-Functional (XFN) partners.

Direct the execution of Pixel VIP v2 features and shape its future.

Learn and influence other designers on the team to up-level UX executions across our product areas.
