Full-Time Position Description
Provide expert guidance on cloud security architecture for BOP cloud deployments Review and validate FedRAMP authorization status for cloud service providers used by BOP Assess cloud security configurations against FedRAMP and DOJ security requirements Advise on cloud migration security strategies and hybrid architecture designs Evaluate cloud service provider security documentation and inheritance models Support authorization activities for cloud-hosted BOP systems Develop cloud security, architecture, documentation and reference designs Coordinate with CSPs on security control implementation and shared responsibility Education
Education:
Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field REQUIRED. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise IT , 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including demonstrated GovCloud experience Expert knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Deep understanding of FedRAMP authorization process and requirements Experience with cloud security architecture patterns and best practices Knowledge of cloud-native security services (IAM, KMS, security groups, etc.) Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) Experience with containerization security (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with cloud compliance frameworks and shared responsibility models Ability to evaluate and document control inheritance from cloud providers Certification Requirement
Cloud certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) About Excentium
