Overview
As Associate Partner in SAP Technology Consulting within EY’s New Zealand Consulting practice, you will shape and drive SAP-related market growth with a primary emphasis on sales, origination, and pre‑sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own pre‑sales for SAP‑led transformation deals, including RISE with SAP, S/4HANA, and cloud‑enabled architectures
- Lead opportunity qualification, win strategy, and solution shaping in partnership with client executives, account partners, and delivery leads
- Orchestrate C‑suite level value propositions, tailored demos, and storytelling linking SAP capabilities to client business outcomes
- Guide discovery, requirements definition, and high‑level solution design, including integration into broader technology estates
- Oversee creation of bid responses, proposals, SoWs, estimates, and RFP/RFI responses, ensuring commercial robustness and delivery feasibility
- Build and maintain senior relationships with SAP, hyperscalers, and alliance partners to shape joint go‑to market and pipeline
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA (Cloud ERP), RISE with SAP, cloud deployment models, and integration with non‑SAP systems
- Engage at C‑suite level, shape business cases, and articulate value aligned to client strategy and industry trends
- Lead cross‑functional pursuit teams and manage multiple complex opportunities in parallel
Qualifications
- Mentor and develop pre‑sales and solution architecture teams, ensuring quality assurance on proposals, presentations, and solution designs
- Contribute to practice strategy, offerings, and thought leadership across target industries and SAP solution areas
- Build the NZ Partnership SAP practice
- Achieve agreed sales, margin, and pipeline targets and contribute to overall practice profitability
