Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer with 2+ years of high‑end residential design experience. The role is full‑time located in New York and offers a salary range of $50k–$100k.
Responsibilities
Sourcing furniture, finishes, fabrics
Assist in developing and preparing client presentations
Interact with vendors and contractors to procure estimates, place orders and follow up on outstanding orders
Assist in managing project calendars, budgets and administrative details
Manage materials library
Support social media and marketing efforts
Requirements
Holds an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
Is highly resourceful, organized and self‑motivated
Has excellent problem‑solving skills and can think several steps ahead
Can skillfully juggle multiple projects at the same time
Has a working knowledge of the marketplace; existing relationships with vendors is a plus
Has excellent communication skills and is highly attentive to detail
Is fully competent in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
Possesses an excellent sense of humor and takes pride in their work
Is comfortable working in a dog‑friendly environment
This is an in‑person role, remote candidates will not be considered
