What You’ll Do

As a Radio Host / Digital Content Writer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the daily sound and digital presence of our local stations. You’ll

engage audiences across on-air, online, social, and in the community

by: Host and help shape a highly relatable, locally focused, fun-loving on-air show Monday – Friday (daypart & station TBD!) Spend time each day doing daily show and digital preparation Entertain and inform listener audiences both on air, via digital content, and social media outlets Publish a minimum of two local articles daily about life and happenings in the Permian Basin on the station website and mobile app Write assigned Facebook posts along with other social media platforms Conduct on-air interviews, attend and assist in all market cluster live events, and produce commercials on a daily basis Conduct Live Remotes and appearances, and assist in special promotions and programming activities Write and produce light cluster imaging Write and produce station customization and local touchpoints for cluster stations Check and edit station logs for accuracy and precision Assist Director of Content and Market President on various content and revenue-generating priorities What You’ll Bring

A big ol’ personality with a love for local radio and its fans Knowledge of basic FCC rules and regulations Superior knowledge of current events Ability to interact with management and staff at all levels, multi-task, and handle pressures and deadlines Skill in operation of control board, remote broadcasting, and other related production equipment Quickly become proficient in Zetta and Adobe Audition Computer literacy in applicable programs and excellent written and verbal communication skills Public speaking skills and the ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting Problem-solving ability and skill in prioritizing Live Your Best Life in the West Texas Sunshine
