The Account Manager, Premium Sales at San Diego FC is primarily responsible for generating new business through Premium Season Tickets, Suites, Premium Hospitality Spaces and Group Ticket Sales. This role is instrumental in reaching out to prospective clients for the purpose of developing and closing new sales in a high-volume sales environment. Candidates should be passionate and willing to work independently within a team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 3-5 years of sales experience (preferably in the Sports Industry) with a proven track record and desire to succeed within a dynamic and results-oriented environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate new revenue through cold calling, prospecting, and conducting in-person appointments Meet and exceed new Premium Season Ticket, Premium and Hospitality sales targets Maintain strong relationships with nightly Premium accounts and renew annually Ability to handle a high volume of sales activity: 50-70 calls per day, booking 15-20 meetings per week Develop relationships through consistent touch points, including outbound calls, emails and text messages, inbound calls, face to face meetings, and any other special events offered Meet regularly with VP, Premium Sales & Service to continue learning and developing Ability to work all home matches and prospecting events throughout the year Maintain a constant high level of professionalism with all clients and prospects Actively participate in regular sales meetings and ongoing training Contribute positively to a collaborative, high-energy sales team environment Identify opportunities for upselling with current and prospective clients i.e.; Group Ticket Sales. Respond in a timely manner to calls, inquiries and emails Accurately and diligently maintains track of all customers and prospects through CRM Non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays as necessary) REQUIREMENTS
Candidates can meet the qualifications for this role with a combination of education, experience, and skills: Bachelor’s Degree Sport industry sales experience preferred (3-5 years) Strong communication and interpersonal skills — diplomatic, tactful, customer-focused with a professional phone manner and ability to interact with a variety of clients, specifically C-level clients Resourceful, conscientious and punctual Entrepreneurial spirit, energetic and outgoing personality with a proactive approach to work Desire to grow a fruitful career in attractions, sports and entertainment ABOUT SAN DIEGO FC:
