Inside Sales Associate (HVAC) – Conklin Metal Industries. Conklin Metal Industries is opening and expanding our Tampa branch, and we’re looking for an Inside Sales Associate who wants to be part of a growing team, make an immediate impact, and grow their career alongside the branch. Customer & Sales Support
Handle customer sales via phone, email, text, and walk-ins Answer incoming calls and route or assist customers appropriately Enter orders, quotes, and sales transactions accurately Serve as the liaison between the branch and Territory Managers Support Territory Managers with quotes, order entry, and product sourcing Initiate and support new customer account setups Operations & Communication
Capture and communicate customer-specific needs (delivery requirements, preferences, etc.) Support inventory by communicating product needs and demand trends to the Branch Manager and Replenishment team Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth information flow Assist with multiple branch needs and jump in wherever help is needed What We’re Looking For
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of HVAC industry experience Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, Word, and Excel Strong typing and data-entry skills Familiarity with ERP systems (Prophet 21 / P21 preferred) Excellent customer service and communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexible and willing to support multiple roles as needed Work Environment
