Role Description ETCH Outdoor Living is seeking a Commercial Account Manager to support and scale our commercial maintenance division. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ankeny, IA with regular field presence required. This role exists to retain clients, protect margin, and improve the client experience. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts and is responsible for ensuring properties are serviced to contract standards while identifying opportunities to improve sites through enhancements and additional services. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. Key Responsibilities Own the performance, retention, and satisfaction of assigned commercial accounts Serve as the primary client contact for property managers and stakeholders Conduct routine site audits to ensure scope compliance and quality standards Proactively communicate service plans, site issues, and corrective actions Coordinate with production teams to resolve issues quickly and permanently Identify, propose, and support the sale of enhancements and value-added services Protect contract scope, pricing, and margins Document site conditions, communications, and action items in company systems Assist with onboarding new accounts and transitions Contribute to process improvement and standardization as the division scales Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial lawn care, landscape maintenance, or property services Previous account management or client-facing experience strongly preferred Ability to manage multiple accounts with urgency and organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfort operating in a metrics-driven environment Financial awareness related to contracts, renewals, and enhancements Proficiency with Google Drive and CRM / operations software (Aspire experience a plus) Self-directed, disciplined, and accountable Valid driver’s license Commercial portfolio with long-term, professional clients Clear systems, processes, and expectations Leadership that values ownership and performance Fast growth with real advancement opportunities Competitive compensation with performance-based upside This role is not for everyone.
