Job Overview We are currently looking for a Senior Global Relationship Manager to join our team in New York, NY.

Senior Global Relationship Manager, You Will Actively target and secure large, competitively held global accounts to drive market share growth. Engage in high-level business discussions with key decision makers to establish trusted‑advisor relationships and convert clients to Haworth solutions. Serve as the primary liaison for all account activities, coordinating resources and executing business plans to achieve revenue, quota, and product mix goals.

Essential Functions

Develops and executes strategic business plans for targeted accounts to drive revenue and market share growth.

Identifies global client opportunities through market exploration and aligns coverage strategies with local sales teams and dealers and drives execution to secure new accounts.

Leverages Haworth tools, trend insights, and competitive analysis to shape account strategies and position Haworth solutions as business performance drivers.

Builds relationships with market influencers-real estate, A+D professionals, and senior executives to uncover early opportunities, increase brand exposure, and influence Haworth specifications.

Establishes trusted‑advisor relationships by mapping stakeholder priorities, diagnosing workspace challenges, and delivering tailored solutions that expand influence and uncover new revenue opportunities.

Structures and negotiates agreements to secure long‑term client partnerships while maintaining competitive advantage.

Proactively manages client relationships, anticipating issues and coordinating resources to ensure successful outcomes.

Develops strong pipeline plans and uses CRM tools to track opportunities and monitor account activity, ensuring smooth transition to Global Account Executives once the account is secured.

May travel up to 80% to meet face to face with clients, influencers, and dealers including international travel.

Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.

Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.

Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, architecture, interior design, marketing, communications or equivalent.

Education Equivalency:

Associate’s degree plus 2 years related experience or,

High school diploma plus 4 years related experience.

Work Experience

7 years experience in consultative business‑to‑business selling, solutions‑based sales role with a history of managing large‑sized clients with significant deal size and delivering complex solutions with Bachelor's Degree

Or 5 years experience in consultative business‑to‑business selling, solutions‑based sales role with a history of managing large‑sized clients with significant deal size and delivering complex solutions with Master's Degree

Ability to work in New York, NY without relocation assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong presentation and communication skills

Contract office furniture or commercial interiors experience

Experience in commercial real estate, project management or architecture & design

Compensation And Benefits Haworth offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, sales incentive bonuses may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions. We also offer a range of benefits and programs to meet our member needs, based on eligibility. These benefits include comprehensive health care coverage, a retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, and much more. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process. This role offers a salary range of 160k-180k, depending on candidate experience, education, and skill set.
