The Opportunity: A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) group is rapidly growing and focused on enhancing operating results for middle market and large cap private equity firms. We boast exceptional opportunities for career growth in our expanding Operations team. Your Role: We seek a strategic leader to drive impactful client engagements. As the Director of Operations and Manufacturing, you'll: Gain in-depth insights into target companies’ manufacturing and distribution operations. Analyze organizational design, production capacity, and efficiency. Review comprehensive data to evaluate equipment conditions and operational effectiveness. Engage with employees and customers to gather shop floor insights. Identify cost improvement opportunities through lean initiatives and facility optimization. Create transformation plans and manage risk mitigation strategies. Oversee the quality and delivery of project outcomes while leading your team to success. Qualifications: 10-15 years of industry and consulting experience; a minimum of 4 years in manufacturing or distribution. Experience in a top-tier strategy firm, niche advisory, or Big-4 consultancy is essential. Expertise working with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in areas including: Supply Chain Operations Manufacturing Operations, SI&OP Plant consolidation and product line transfers Manufacturing strategy and CapEx planning Implementing Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, and Value Engineering principles. Demonstrated success engaging with C-suite executives and private equity partners. Strong analytical skills with a background in business process mapping and quantitative analysis. The salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $225,000, depending on experience, education, and skills, plus a discretionary bonus program based on performance.
