Community Engagement Coordinator - St. Louis

(Full Time, Remote but must live in the St. Louis, MO area) Position Focus

Build relationships throughout the St. Louis community to raise awareness of and funding for PRG. Position Details

Our new Community Engagement Coordinator will be spreading the word about Pink Ribbon Good and developing relationships throughout the St. Louis community. They’ll be putting on fundraising events, rallying volunteers, organizing activities for survivors and showcasing it all on our social channels.” If you are a hard worker who’s flexible, creative and excited to be part of something big, we can’t wait to meet you! Responsibilities

Assist the St. Louis team in developing and executing a plan to expand awareness and fundraising through community events Support the planning and execution of community-led fundraising efforts Plan and host monthly in-person peer support events for PRG clients Represent PRG at community events throughout St. Louis. Please note, sometimes these events fall on nights or weekends Help build and maintain relationships with key strategic community organizations including schools, businesses and civic groups Manage volunteer engagement efforts including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, communication and appreciation Coordinate and oversee the communication, meeting logistics, engagement projects and Pink Game involvement of the St. Louis high school advisory board Manage regional social media channels in partnership with the PRG marketing team to highlight local stories, events and volunteer moments Track community touchpoints, partner engagement and fundraising progress using established systems and tools, including our Raiser’s Edge database, to measure progress toward fundraising and engagement goals Assist the St. Louis team with planning and executing PRG annual fundraising events Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and community experience Relevant experience required, including fundraising, community engagement, volunteer coordination and/or events, in nonprofit or other related fields Flexible and versatile, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and community needs Impressive ability to develop relationships; experience working with community-based organizations strongly preferred Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure on multiple tasks with deadlines Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; customer service-oriented and excellent listening skills Shows initiative, willingness to learn and the ability to stay organized and follow through on assigned projects and goals Must be able to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion Proficient in Google Workspace; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge a plus Ability to lift boxes up to 25 pounds to a height of 3-4 feet for various events Must possess a current valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance Passionate about the PRG mission This is a full time position with hours 9am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday working remotely from your home in the St. Louis region.
