Job Summary The Total Reward Specialist supports, the administration, communication, education, and continuous improvements of Blessing Health Systems’ benefits programs. This position provides benefit support in daily/weekly activities including funding, invoices, communication and processing. Supports HR team with key activities during the year including but not limited to, open enrollment, benefit education and communications.
This position will also be responsible for leave administration. This position will administer and manage employee leave programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while providing compassionate support to employees. This role oversees the full lifecycle of leave requests—including FMLA, ADA, disability, and Blessing‑specific leave policies—and partners closely with management, payroll, and third‑party administrator to ensure accurate and timely processing.
This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Health System.
Education/Training/Experience JOB QUALIFICATIONS Required
Bachelor’s Degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Excellent Communication Skills
Proficiency in Office Equipment
Preferred
Experience with HRIS systems and compensation/benefits tools is preferred.
License/Certifications/Special Requirements
Preferred: SHRM certification
