We have partnered with a global food, nutrition, and functional ingredients manufacturer to recruit for an Account Manager Midwest (Utah-based). This commercial role is responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across the Midwest territory, supporting both existing accounts and new business development within food, nutrition, and health-focused markets.
As Account Manager, you will act as the primary commercial contact for customers in the region, working closely with technical, supply chain, and global commercial teams to deliver value-driven ingredient solutions.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
3–7+ years of sales or account management experience within food ingredients, nutrition, or functional ingredients.
Strong understanding of ingredient applications and solution-based selling.
Proven ability to manage key accounts while identifying new growth opportunities.
Experience working across multi-state territories and managing customer pipelines.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts across the Midwest territory.
Identify new business opportunities with food, beverage, nutrition, and health-focused customers.
Partner with technical and supply chain teams to support customer projects and product launches.
Develop account plans, pricing strategies, and commercial proposals aligned with regional growth targets.
Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and market intelligence to leadership.
Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and regional trade shows.
