Account Executive in the Virginia/Washington DC area .

Duties & Responsibilities
Prospect and build relationships with potential customers
Aggressively grow an assigned territory
Gain strong knowledge of local competition
Continuously research new business opportunities
Collaborate with operations to develop strategic plans to acquire accounts
Build a database of business leads
Contribute to the company’s mission, vision and core values
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in a business to business environment
A background in contract foodservice, food / beverage vending, office coffee service, or other closely related field is preferred, but not required
A highly self-motivated work style, with the ability to work independently
A serious, outgoing and aggressive personality with a competitive spirit
Familiarity with the market, and currently residing in or willingness to relocate to the market area
A bachelor’s degree is desirable, but not a requirement
