Position Summary This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing strategic relationships, and supporting dealers, agents, and OEM networks. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of our products, and a commitment to meeting performance targets while maintaining operational excellence.
Essential Job Functions The Account Executive must be able to perform all the following duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
Sales Growth & Revenue Management
Achieve or exceed assigned Net Revenue Budget targets.
Train and support dealer remittance process.
Bonus eligibility will be tied to achieving 80% or better revenue objectives.
Identify and generate two qualified sales leads each month (non-Zurich).
Territory & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, dealers, and OEMs, supporting mutual growth.
Provide consistent support and guidance to partner channels to ensure alignment and engagement.
Travel 75% a month to support field activities, relationship building, training, trade shows, and networking events.
Training & Product Expertise
Conduct detailed and ongoing training for dealers, agents, and internal stakeholders to ensure full product and process understanding.
Maintain expert-level product knowledge and communicate value propositions effectively to customers and partners.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
Manage compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations across the territory.
Oversee and manage supply levels to ensure proper availability and minimize disruptions.
Accurately manage and report Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expenses within the approved budget.
CRM & Technology Utilization
Ensure accurate, timely, and consistent use of CRM tools to document activities, pipeline updates, and customer interactions.
Fully utilize the Sales systems/programs (e.g., DOMO, Map My Customer) to plan and execute field activity, track visits, and optimize territory management.
Reporting and Tools
Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiently for reporting, presentations, and communication.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates on performance metrics, training activities, and territory health.
Cultivate new relationships within your assigned territory.
Drive new revenue streams by utilization of existing marketing and lead generation campaigns and/or programs provided by CalTex.
Educate our prospects and clients by delivering compelling, brand-specific presentations, product demonstrations, virtual and firsthand training that highlight CalTex’s superior advantages via dealership sales meetings, agency education and/or F&I Seminars.
Create cross-sell opportunities with existing clients to increase product saturation in dealerships.
Train Service Advisors on claims processes via CalTex applications, websites or telephone.
Train Sales and F&I Department on all aspects of CalTex programs utilized and available.
Work independently and demonstrate effective time management skills by utilizing Microsoft Outlook, TEAMS and Spiro CRM tools provided.
Ensure that all activities and operations are conducted in compliance with organizational guidelines, local, state and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 3 years of experience in a direct customer relations role. College degree, preferred.
Successful record in automotive dealership and/or after-market sales desired.
In addition, a qualified applicant will:
Proven experience in sales, account management, or territory development.
Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and managing partner/channel relationships.
Ability to travel up to 75% as needed.
Strong organizational, communication, and training skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and acceptable driving record.
Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment Most job responsibilities are performed while outdoors with exposure to a variety of weather conditions and hazards. Flex hours will be required (must be able to work nights and weekends on a non-routine basis).
Contacts Interaction will occur with all levels of employees and management, outside vendors and contractors in the performance of the job duties as they relate to the Account Executive. Interaction will entail the exchange and gathering of information and responding to questions and requests from leaders and Customers.
