Overview
Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a financial services organization, is seeking a skilled Skip Recovery Agent, Collections Skip Trace Specialist, and Skip Recovery Admin. These roles are responsible for managing post charge-off accounts, supporting telematics tracking for asset recovery, and coordinating with external vendors to locate and secure vehicles. Responsibilities
Assign and track post-charge-off accounts to external skip agencies and vendors Review and upload account documentation to internal systems for skip tracing purposes Monitor vendor performance and follow up on assigned accounts Track telematics pings and ensure vehicle VINs are updated every three days until resolution Respond to urgent email requests and inbound calls from vendors and internal teams Use Excel to maintain skip account logs and update daily tracking spreadsheets Collaborate with legal and fraud teams on escalated recovery matters including replevin and title washing Support voluntary surrender processes and assist customers with payment or payoff discussions Qualifications
1+ year of experience in collections Previous experience with skip tracing Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data tracking Experience handling sensitive account data in compliance-driven environments High School Diploma or GED Strong familiarity with internal systems for telematics, account management, and document handling Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field Prior experience using telematics or GPS-based vehicle tracking tools Knowledge of repossession legal processes (e.g., replevin, title washing) Experience supporting fraud investigation or law enforcement inquiries Previous experience with asset recovery Note: The following paragraph contains styling that should be presented as plain text per guidelines, but the content is preserved as part of the company description.
