
PILLARIO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT manages over 700 units across Central Indiana. We are seeking a Leasing Manager for scattered-site rentals in Indianapolis. Manages diverse, dispersed properties by driving occupancy through marketing, leasing, and tenant relations. Key tasks include conducting showings, screening applicants, executing leases, collecting rent, and coordinating maintenance across multiple locations. This role requires strong, independent, and organized individuals to manage high-volume turnover and ensure resident satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Leasing & Marketing: Advertise available single-family homes/small apartments, conduct property tours, screen applicants (background/credit checks), and finalize lease agreements. Property Operations: Inspect scattered sites to ensure market-ready conditions, oversee move-ins/move-outs, and manage vendor relationships for repairs. Resident Relations: Address resident inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly; enforce lease terms. Financial & Compliance: Process rent payments, handle delinquent accounts, and maintain compliance with local and state housing regulations. Performance Tracking: Utilize property management software (e.g., AppFolio) to report on occupancy, turnover, and rental trends. Requirements
Experience: Proven experience as a leasing agent, property manager, or in a relevant sales/customer service role. Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Tools: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio). Logistics: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between scattered sites in the Indianapolis area. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in real estate or business is a plus. Key Qualifications
Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations. Ability to work independently, often with limited on-site supervision. Excellent conflict resolution and customer service skills.
