ROLE SUMMARY

This role is a showroom operations and wholesale sales support position, reporting the Maurizio Baldassari USA team. The Showroom Sales Specialist is responsible for ensuring showroom execution, supporting market and selling activities, managing sample flow, and assisting with sales administration, budgeting, and reporting. This is a highly detail-oriented role that requires strong organizational skills, basic understanding of the Microsoft suite, specially Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced, luxury wholesale environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support to Maurizio Baldassari USA Team

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales North America and supporting across all showroom, sales, and administrative needs. Assist with sales preparation, account follow-ups, recaps, and internal coordination, including calendar management, travel & expenses, trunk show and event scheduling. Prepare sales summaries, order recaps, and performance overviews for internal review. Support planning and execution of seasonal market strategy and in-season initiatives. 2. Showroom Operations & Market Support

Maintain the showroom at high level of standard at all times (merchandising, cleanliness, visual order). Prepare the showroom for market and appointments: steaming, tagging, hanging, styling, rack setup, and selling tools. Support appointments during market: greeting clients, managing appointment flow, taking notes, tracking requests, and assisting throughout the sell-in process. Assist with dressing models and garment presentation during appointments. 3. Sample Management & Logistics

Manage all sample traffic: check-in/check-out, pulls, packing, shipping, receiving, and accurate tracking. Maintain organized storage and clear visibility of sample inventory. Coordinate shipments for market, press, photoshoots, and special projects. Coordinate shipments to/from clients and warehouse 4. Wholesale Sales Administration

Assist with order entry, PO updates, reorders, and maintenance in coordination with the sales team. Prepare and maintain selling tools including line sheets, image decks, lookbooks, and order recap documents. Support wholesale customer service needs (basic follow-ups, requests, coordination with internal teams). Assist with NuOrder or other B2B wholesale platforms as needed. 5. Showroom Budgeting & Financial Tracking

Assist in managing the showroom operating budget in partnership with the Head of Sales. Track showroom expenses including supplies, shipping, services, and market-related costs. Maintain organized Excel files for budgeting, expense tracking, and reconciliations. Support basic financial reporting related to showroom operations and sales support. 6. Excel, Reporting & Data Management

Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets related to orders, samples, budgets, and sales tracking. Support basic analysis of orders, account performance, and market results. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across internal documents and systems. Create clean, well-structured Excel tools for internal use. 7. Events & Special Projects

Support showroom events, trunk show preparation, and special brand initiatives. Assist with sample photoshoots, presentations, and ad-hoc projects as needed. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

1–3 years of experience in a fashion showroom, wholesale sales support, luxury retail operations, or similar role. Knowledge and comfortability with Microsoft Suite of products, speciallifaclly Excel & PowerPoint Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Polished, professional communication style; comfortable interacting with internal and external partners Hands-on and proactive; comfortable steaming garments, handling samples, and managing logistics. Ability to multitask and stay calm during high-pressure periods. Interest in luxury menswear and wholesale business strongly preferred. WORK SCHEDULE & ENVIRONMENT

Full-time, on-site role based in the New York City showroom. Flexibility required during market weeks (extended hours as needed). SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE....
