Overview
United Way of Muskingum, Perry, and Morgan Counties (MPM) is a local, non-profit organization, located in Zanesville, Ohio. We were chartered on September 16, 1954 and consist of a small staff and volunteers who work to support a broad range of agencies and programs in our communities. Although we are a part of the United Way international non-profit, each United Way is autonomous. We are governed by a local Board of Directors and decisions are made locally, in the best interest of our communities.

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in fundraising, development, and community engagement
Confident and skilled in making donor outreach calls and securing financial support
Confidence and skill in delivering presentations to donors, partners, and community groups
Experience managing donor databases and CRM platforms
Ability to create compelling fundraising materials, campaigns, and donor‑focused content
Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Reliability, accountability, and a willingness to take ownership of projects
Creative problem‑solver with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
Professional presence with high energy and enthusiasm for donor engagement

Responsibilities The Community Engagement Coordinator, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will focus on:
Leading annual campaign activities which includes campaign presentations, donor outreach calls, and securing financial support
Process donor pledges and gifts
Maintain and updated donor management database
Initiate relationships with prospective donors
Generate and report out on data to support fundraising planning and strategy
Manage campaign materials, inventory and logistical details
Give public campaign presentations
Coordinate campaign tools such as toolkits and timelines
Donor cultivation and retention
Serve as the point of contact for all donor related activities
Create, schedule and publish social media content
Photo and video collection for media
Content creation
Coordinate and Represent the organization in the media such as radio, television, and press releases
Strong organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Annual starting salary range: $41,500 – $44,000
