enGen Job Description: JOB SUMMARY This position is integral to shaping the strategy and execution of data governance, data warehousing, and data management across the organization. The role directs collaboration among business area Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and promotes a data-driven culture throughout the organization. Responsibilities include establishing data sources of truth, managing project budgets and timelines, and fostering data as a key organizational asset. The Director will lead initiatives to enhance data maturity and facilitate the lifecycle of data, information, and knowledge. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Lead management tasks such as hiring, coaching, performance management, and departmental operations. Develop policies and programs to improve the department's effectiveness and efficiency. Oversee project timelines, ensuring delivery within budget and scope. Design, develop, and sustain a data warehouse/big data platform that serves the enterprise's diverse stakeholders. Manage priorities effectively, working collaboratively with senior management to resolve competing interests. Act as the data governance ambassador within the organization, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Ensure clear service level agreements and expectations are met with end-users and external stakeholders. Maintain and enhance the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)/Big Data platforms to cater to customer needs. Coordinate all data extracts for both internal and external audiences. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience as determined by the company. Preferred Master's Degree in Business, Information Science, or a related field. EXPERIENCE Minimum 10 years in information technology within a data warehouse setting, including 5 years in a managerial role. 3 years of experience in the healthcare sector. Experience in strategic planning or product road mapping, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various audiences. Proven ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams. Preferred None. SKILLS Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Extensive project management experience, demonstrating leadership and resource management skills. Effective teamwork and interpersonal communication skills. Capacity to lead initiatives focused on process improvement. Thorough understanding of business needs. Aptitude for building trust and confidence with customers. Strong relationship management capabilities. Outstanding communication skills. LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Required None. Preferred PMP certification.
