Valuation Associate
in our New York office. Duties
Analysis of operational and financial activity and trends in complex business valuations for disputed valuations, transactional, solvency opinion, fairness opinion and financial reporting Gather and analyze market data, financial statements, and industry information to support valuation conclusions Apply analysis to economic damage cases involving lost profits Conduct valuation database searches to assess and select comparable companies Perform data analytics relevant to the investigative issues Prepare schedules, tables, and charts to summarize financial analysis and findings Support senior team members in client engagements and business development activities Stay current on industry trends, valuation methodologies, and regulatory developments Work in a team environment on multiple assignments. Education, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor .s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field CFA, ASA, or other relevant certifications are a plus Position requires 2-5 years of work experience in finance and/or business valuations Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases) Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with strong attention to detail Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to synthesize complex financial information and communicate findings clearly Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy Excellent time management and organizational skills Team player with strong interpersonal abilities Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Some travel may be required Employees at GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group LLC receive competitive compensation and a full range of benefits.
