
Account Manager - Commercial Landscape

This position will oversee and direct aspects of commercial maintenance activities in the greater Sacramento Area.
Structure Functional Roles and Responsibilities Operations Management
Job inspections per defined frequency based on account value
Compliance with Landscape Specifications and Work Frequency Chart
Scheduling of monthly / yearly maintenance activities including, but not limited to: fertilization, pre-emergent, broadleaf control, fire breaks, annual color, irrigation audits / repairs, monthly infill plantings, deodorizer applications, etc.
Coordination and scheduling of field crews with Maintenance Supervisor
Knowledge of all materials being applied
Ensuring safety programs are in compliance
If LEP in place, manage and track performance and submit completed photos
Client Relations
Responds timely to client requests
Awareness of client’s long‑term goals and budget needs
Collaborate with client to build forward looking project plan
Attend and participate in LMR calls/meetings
Proactive communication with clients and operational team to close loops on action items
Quality Control
Accurately presents quality concept to clients and employees
Personal Development
Coaches, develops and trains key team members aimed at attainable goals
Reviews Field Supervisors personally and reviews all team members with Field Supervisor. Makes salary / wage adjustment recommendations to President
Identifies strengths and weaknesses of employees and places them in positions so they may succeed and reach their potential
Maintenance and Enhancements
Performs onboarding and monthly walks with all accounts and clients
Meets with clients to review enhancement requests
Prices and executes small enhancement projects and works directly with enhancements manager on larger projects
