Property Manager
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
Act as primary point of contact for tenants, owners, and vendors with a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
Coordinate and track maintenance requests from intake through completion.
Perform regular property inspections and walkthroughs.
Schedule, follow up on, and verify completion of vendor work.
Manage leases, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
Assist with permitting, compliance filings, utilities, and service contracts.
Maintain digital records using our cloud-based systems (paperless office).
Support ownership with special projects, new property onboarding, and operational improvements.
Communicate clearly and diplomatically with people of all backgrounds—tenants, board members, supers, vendors, etc.
Requirements
1–3+ years of property management or related real estate experience preferred
(but strong organizational/tech skills).
Highly computer-savvy — comfortable learning new software, using cloud tools, apps, and digital workflows.
Fast, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Excellent communication + interpersonal skills.
Reliable car and valid driver’s license — must be able to commute to the office in Roslyn Heights and visit properties as needed.
Strong writing skills for emails, notices, and vendor communications.
Comfortable handling occasional difficult conversations and problem-solving calmly under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software.
Knowledge of NYC/Long Island rental regulations, housing rules, or condo/HOA operations.
Basic understanding of vendor insurance requirements, maintenance trades, or building systems.
