What You’ll Do
Design
high-performing social media graphics , including:
Instagram carousels
Reel/short-form video text overlays
Story frames
Thumbnails and covers
Create
visual hooks
optimized for saves, shares, and retention
Develop
reusable design templates
(Canva, Figma, Adobe) to increase speed and volume
Repurpose photo and video assets into
multiple social formats
Collaborate with the videographer to enhance short‑form video with graphics and pacing
Work with the social media coordinator to iterate based on performance insights
Maintain
brand consistency
across all social platforms
Support campaigns and launches with cohesive visual assets
Stay current on social trends and platform‑native design styles
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in
graphic design for social media
Strong portfolio showcasing
social-first work
(especially carousels and short‑form content)
Proficiency in
Canva
and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator; After Effects a plus)
Strong understanding of
what performs on social platforms
Ability to design quickly without sacrificing qualityComfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment
Organized, adaptable, and open to experimentation
Nice to Have
Experience designing for
growth-focused or performance-driven accounts
Basic understanding of social analytics and engagement metrics
Experience working with short‑form video teams
Familiarity with A/B testing hooks or layouts
