The Community Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase membership, logins, and active participation in a community networking technical users. Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement & Growth
Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase membership, logins, and active participation. Implement gamification and engagement programs (e.g., MVP initiatives, contests).
Content Strategy & Publishing
Manage editorial calendars for blogs, newsletters, and other cyclical publications. Publish and promote monthly newsletters and events on the community site. Collaborate with SMEs to produce technical content, webinars, and demos tailored for a highly technical audience that supports the editorial strategy for the community. Collaborate with the community manager on the structural and UI evolution of the community site. Manage vendor relationships with communication platform providers.
Event Marketing & Execution
Plan and promote Airheads presence at major events (e.g., HPE Discover, Networking Days, TechJam), including lounges, interactive experiences, office hours, MVP appreciation, and advisory boards. Coordinate logistics for onsite engagement programs and digital signage.
Campaign Management
Create integrated marketing plans for community initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader marketing objectives. Drive SEO optimization and streamline user experience across community platforms.
Analytics & Reporting
Track KPIs such as new members, active engagement, page views, content acquisition, webinar attendance, and SCO. Analyze dashboards and reports to illuminate trends, measure success, and inform strategy. Collaborate with marketing operations and the community manager to develop new models that improve audience segmentation, revenue association, and bidirectional data exchange with Marketing and SFDC.
Required Skills & Qualifications
BA/BS in marketing related field; MBA preferred. 5+ years of marketing or related field (solutions marketing, customer marketing, partner marketing, community or event marketing experience) with a strong understanding of technical communities and B2B marketing. Experience in content creation, event planning, and digital marketing. Proficient on community platforms (Higher Logic), analytics tools (DOMO, Power BI), SCO platforms (BrightEdge) and webinar tools. Excellent written/oral communication and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to manage/influence virtual teams and strong negotiating skills. Understanding of enterprise networking technologies (WLAN, Switching, WAN, Security, Data Center) highly desired.
