The Role The Content, Communications, and Thought Leadership Marketer is responsible for shaping how Knox communicates with the market - through content, executive thought leadership, and external narratives that build trust, credibility, and awareness. You will own the full content lifecycle while also driving Knox’s communications and thought leadership strategy. This includes translating complex topics such as FedRAMP, compliance, and secure cloud infrastructure into clear, compelling narratives that position Knox as a trusted authority. You’ll partner closely with the Director of Demand Generation, Product, Solutions, and the CEO to ensure content and communications support demand generation, executive visibility, brand positioning, and long-term market influence. Responsibilities Own Knox’s content, communications, and thought leadership strategy across formats, including blog posts, articles, web pages, whitepapers, e-books, webinars, videos, podcasts, and social content Develop and manage content and communications calendars aligned to demand generation campaigns, SEO and AEO priorities, executive visibility, and key business moments Create high-quality, audience-first content that educates the market, supports inbound demand, and reinforces Knox’s position as a trusted expert in federal cloud and compliance Own SEO and AEO strategy in partnership with Demand Generation, including keyword research, search optimization, answer-based content, and performance tracking across traditional and AI-driven discovery channels Distribute and repurpose content across the website, email, social media, earned placements, and demand generation campaigns Partner with the CEO on executive communications and thought leadership, including LinkedIn content, long-form narratives, messaging development, and performance analysis Proactively identify, pitch, and support speaking and thought leadership opportunities for Knox leadership, including podcasts, conferences, panels, webinars, and media opportunities Partner closely with Demand Generation to support campaigns, ABM programs, webinars, and events with strong, effective content and messaging Track and analyze content and communications performance across engagement, traffic, discovery, and conversion metrics, using insights to continuously improve impact Maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging, and quality across all external communications Stay current on industry trends, customer pain points, policy shifts, and competitive messaging to inform content and communications strategy Required Qualifications 4+ years of B2B content marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or complex, technical industries Proven ability to create compelling written content across formats and audiences Strong experience with SEO best practices and data-driven content optimization Experience managing content calendars and supporting integrated marketing campaigns Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging narratives Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess content performance and apply learnings Excellent written communication and editing skills Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting executive or company thought leadership, communications, or external visibility initiatives Strong understanding of modern content discovery, including SEO, AEO, and emerging AI-driven search and answer platforms Bonus / Preferred Experience marketing to federal, government, or other highly regulated audiences Familiarity with FedRAMP, compliance, cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity topics Experience supporting thought leadership or executive social media presence Experience creating or managing webinar and long-form content programs Comfort working with long, complex buying cycles Hiring Requirement Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings, including a background check, in accordance with applicable laws and government contract requirements.
