Overview
Motion Graphic Designer – Industry: Tech – Location: Culver City, CA – Duration: 3 months
Responsibilities
Concept, design, and execute motion and visual design work from early exploration through final delivery
Translate abstract or evolving ideas into clear, refined visual systems and assets
Partner closely with creative, editorial, and cross-functional teams to shape ideas and resolve ambiguity
Set creative direction when needed while remaining hands-on in execution
Deliver compelling, high-quality visuals across platforms and products
Requirements
7+ years of experience as an Art Director, Animator/Designer, or similar role at a creative agency or leading in-house team
Strong portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, motion principles, and hands-on execution across styles (portfolio required)
High proficiency in Photoshop, After Effects, and Cinema 4D
Excellent visual judgment across typography, layout, color, imagery, and motion
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale
