Purpose of Job The purpose of this position is to create a positive, supportive, creative and safe learning environment during the Grand Slam summer program for teens sponsored by the Leisure Services Department. This program gives youth 11-17 years old a safe and enjoyable way to spend their Friday evenings. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to participating in and conducting activities and programs. Ensures safety of all assigned participants assists with setup, cleanup, and minor cleaning of program and restroom areas.
Job Related Requirements Work Schedule:
Counselor: Friday nights 5:00 pm - 9:30 pm Friday, May 29, 2026 - July 24, 2026 (no Grand Slam Friday, July 3rd). Director schedule can vary but will work up to 20 hours per week April-July. Friday nights 5:00 pm - 9:30 from May 29, 2026 - July 24, 2026 will be required.
May be required to work on religious holidays. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Must work cooperatively with others. When requirements include vehicle operation, responsible for the
