Our client, a growing investment manager ($60B AUM) with offices in NYC and South Florida is seeking a Credit Operations Associate to support their private credit/direct lending business. This includes execution of credit trade settlements and asset movements across the firm’s private and/or public credit strategies. This individual will play a key role in managing the end-to-end settlement lifecycle, coordinating with counterparties, custodians, prime brokers, administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate transfer of positions and cash.

Responsibilities Include: Manage credit trade lifecycle from confirmation through settlement; track fails and drive resolution Coordinate asset transfers with counterparties, custodians, prime brokers, agent banks, and administrators Execute position/cash movements between accounts/funds; maintain settlement records Perform daily trade/position/cash reconciliations; investigate and resolve breaks Support documentation workflows (settlement instructions, transfer forms, consents/assignments as applicable) Identify process improvements and help scale controls/automation Qualifications
Requirements: 2+ years in Credit Ops/Middle Office/Settlements/Trade Support (credit-focused) Knowledge of loans and/or HY bonds; private credit or direct lending is required. Familiarity with Portfolio BI / VPM/ Sentry preferred Strong Excel and communication skills; detail-oriented and deadline-driven
