Overview

The Marketing Manager serves as a liaison to the greater Method Marketing team, facilitating communication and collaboration between local operations and the corporate marketing strategy. This role is responsible for developing and executing local and regional marketing campaigns and strategies, implementing the creative vision for the region, and ensuring that all creative outputs align with various brands’ standards while being tailored to local cultural nuances. The goal is to promote the product and brand, increase occupancy, and drive revenue. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, marketing, customer engagement, and creative design. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the local sales team, revenue management, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing approach. This role reports directly to the Method Co. Corporate Marketing Office. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Detroit, MI. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role. Responsibilities

1. Creative Project Management: Oversee the execution of local creative projects, including photo shoots, video production, and design work, ensuring alignment with the brand’s overall creative vision. Provide on-the-ground leadership during events, photo shoots, and other creative initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality outcomes. 2. Adaptation of Creative Vision: Tailor the overarching brand vision to fit local cultural contexts, ensuring creative outputs resonate with the regional audience. Collaborate with local talent to bring fresh, innovative ideas that align with the brand’s aesthetic and strategic goals. 3. Regional Marketing: Local Marketing Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans that align with regional business objectives and target markets. Campaign Management & Execution:

Create, manage, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital, email, social media, and traditional media. Market Research:

Conduct research and analyze trends to identify opportunities and threats. Leverage data to refine strategies. Partnerships and Promotions:

Establish partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and influencers. Develop and manage promotional messaging, offers, and packages. Performance Tracking:

Monitor and report on marketing effectiveness using KPIs. Make data-driven recommendations. Event & Sales Marketing Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns that support sales goals. Customer Engagement:

Build strategies to engage guests and foster loyalty. Implement feedback tools and ensure collateral aligns with current messaging and branding. 4. Vendor and Talent Management: Manage relationships with local photographers, stylists, designers, and other creatives, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines. Negotiate contracts and oversee vendor relationships for production and other services. 5. Collaboration and Communication: Maintain regular communication with Corporate Marketing Directors (Content, Digital, Creative Services, Data Analytics) to align and receive feedback. Participate in regular meetings with central and regional teams to coordinate projects and ensure alignment. Serve as the primary liaison between local Detroit operations and Method’s corporate marketing team. 6. Quality Control and Consistency: Ensure all visual content produced meets brand guidelines and quality standards. Review and approve final visuals before release to maintain brand integrity. Maintain consistent brand representation across all marketing materials and channels. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong portfolio showcasing creative direction, visual design, and content production. Proven experience in executing successful marketing campaigns. Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and its marketing dynamics. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma) and knowledge of photo/video production. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social platforms, CMS, and CRM systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for strategic decisions. Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively. Other Requirements

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Detroit, MI. This is a full-time, onsite role requiring daily presence at the property. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Self-motivated team collaborator with strong organizational skills. Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behavior is a plus. Travel and on-site presence during key creative projects is required.
